River Cruises: In large rivers, there is some form of river cruising. The duration of the cruise depends on the river's length and size. Examples: Rhine, Danube, Thames, Amazon, Nile, and Murray.
Cruise Liner Ferry: Ferries are designed for both transport and the entertainment of passengers during the trip, with bow thrusters to enable faster, more efficient manoeuvring in and out of ports and stabilisers to provide a smoother ride.
Repositioning Cruise: When a cruise ship relocates from one cruise region itinerary to a new cruise region itinerary, it makes a special sailing en route to the new area, stopping in ports-of-call along the way.
Running Lights Cruise: Three lights (green on starboard side, red on portside and white at the top of the mast) required by international law to be lighted when the ship is in motion between sunset and sunrise.
Second or Late Seating Cruise: The later of two meal-times in the ship’s dining room.
Cruise Fare: The actual cost of the cruise, excluding all extras such as taxes, port charges, airfare, gratuities and the like.
