1. Baggage that is suitable to be carried in the cabin, such as night bags or bed rolls, portable typewriters, laptop computers and briefcases, is called cabin baggage.
2. The passenger does not have to pay anything extra for the cabin baggage that they carry along with themselves.
3. This kind of baggage is labelled ‘cabin’ and is allowed as per the following specification: -
The baggage should be one piece.
The weight of cabin baggage should not exceed 6 kgs.
The size of the baggage should be such that it easily fits in the overhead compartment or below the seat, depending upon the interior arrangement of the aircraft.
