The changes affecting the approved agency must be notified to IATA well in advance of the effective date when there is a change of ownership, location, or name. Failure to notify IATA of changes occurring in the agency may lead to the termination of the agent’s IATA approval. The agency administrator may decide to withdraw the agent's approval, any of its approved locations, and the agent's authority to do business with airlines on a cash basis.
