Two Workshops at Kripalu February 27- March 1 and March 1-5
Kelly began Yoga in 2000 in England as a way to see a friend weekly. Lamenting not being on the treadmill in the next room as she held poses for what seemed an inordinately long time in the Iyengar class and woke the next day discovering parts of her body she had never felt. After her third child, Kelly rediscovered yoga because of a running injury in 2006. Baptiste and Bikram were her mainstays with some Kripalu classes thrown in. Somewhere therein Kelly realized the gift of meditation in yoga on top of the physical. Wow!
Kelly loves teaching yoga and has been doing it since 2018. Watching the light of students after class is such a gift! She has just completed 200 hrs at Kripalu with Yoganand and Monique Schubert and previously trained with Baron Baptiste, amongst other shorter trainings (Brandon Campagnone & Naima Workman, Nicki Doane, Tom Gillette, Rajashree Choudhury….). Having certificates in both styles allows for two very different methodologies.
Will be great to meet you online! :) If you’re ever on Boston’s North Shore, come take a class at Blue Yoga in Swampscott Thursday nights and Sunday mornings. (http://bluehotyoga.com/)
