Fiction

Introduction

Marvel is funded by the military industrial complex. A Bug's Life is a children's communist manifesto. Star Trek is about colonialism and Star Wars is about a group of antifascists guerrilla fighters who overthrow state violence. The Alien series is about feminism an abortion, while Le Mis is about how we should probably do prison abolition. Oh and movies like The Help, Hamilton, or Bridgerton aren't actually woke at all.

Don't believe us? Entertainment is just another way we explain the world to ourselves. While all art is subjective, it's useful in that it shows the same real world experiences through different perspectives, and allows us to challenge our own beliefs in situations we've never imagined.
