Individualization of Responsibility

n. the ideology that it's the individual’s responsibility, not groups with power (like governments or corporations) to solve systemic issues (issues they usually created)

ex. the push for normal people to 'buy green' or bike to work to combat climate change instead of regulation on private or military pollution (which are the primary sources of climate change).
