Dear Pack 911 Families - We hope you've had a restful Spring Break and enjoyed our Dinosaur Scavenger Hunt Pack meeting last week to finish our March Personal Fitness themed adventures. Over half of our Pack 911 families had a memorable experience at the March Cub Scout Weekend at Camp Emerald Bay in Catalina, earned through our Fall popcorn fundraiser. We have a few more adventures to cover in April and May before we culminate in our June 6th Bridging Ceremony and earn our respective ranks.
April 's theme focuses on Champions of Nature, but our individual dens will be customizing their schedules to fit their specific needs with special electives, time to catch up on requirements, and fun field trips. Speaking of trips, our Spring Pack camping trip is just around the corner! We'll be heading to Santa Paula on May 1-3 to the Steckel Park Campground for our last camping trip of the year. Please RSVP as soon as possible (YES OR NO) so we can start planning for a memorable and fun experience. This trip will showcase more hands on opportunities for your scouts to engage in cooking and cleaning, and we'll share more details in the specific whatsapp chat for that trip. May 1-3 Chat Link
Please take a look at some of the Emerald Bay Camping photos and add your own favorites to our album in our Private Facebook Group If you have a moment, we'd love for you to join our MONTHLY COMMITTEE MEETING Tuesday, April 7th at 6:00pm, where we will discuss plan for camping and how everyone can contribute!
Looking ahead to summer, registrations for summer camp are already under way. Please take a moment to update your calendars for the rest of the year from this REVISED YEAR AT A GLANCE CALENDAR.
As always, we're here to support you and your family every step of the way and answer any questions to make the most of your scouting journey. Don't hesitate to reach out!
Yours in Scouting,
