April Highlights

Pack 911 Families,

This month, some of you may have caught the Solar Eclipse on April 8th, earning you a rare glow in the dark patch (available to pick up at the Scout Shop). Our Webelos hiked up to the Hollywood Sign as part of their Walkabout adventure. On the 24th, some of our scouts went hiking at the Old LA Zoo, and explored hidden caves and enjoyed watching nature, like this bold crane having some lunch. Our AOLs attended our district Camporee and placed in the top 3 for every challenge they faced. They brought home 4 - 1st place medals for skills in Knot Tying, First Aid, Compass/Trail Signs & teamwork in obstacles.  These kids are definitely troop ready! 

We held our last traditional pack meeting on April 27th, where we had our Bobcat ceremony for our remaining 6 scouts, created butterfly habitats and planted new flowers for our Butterfly Waystation. Thank you for contributing and beautifying NUMC!
