What's Next?? Our leaders are busy locking down the 2024-2025 Pack 911 Scouting Program dates, but in the meantime, we've created a 2024 SUMMER PASSPORT for scouts to stay active and engaged, and earn some awards while they're at it. Take a look below at some upcoming events and join us if you can.
2024-2025 Program Dates: We will share our 24-25 Program schedule with you as soon as possible so you can plan your year with us! If you can take a moment to fill out our 1 page survey, we would appreciate your feedback so we can better support our families. LINK TO SURVEY

May's Carnival was hosted by the Bear Den, with Den Leaders Travis and Sean organizing and helping the Bears plan and execute their own original games. They did a tremendous job. We appreciate and thank all of the parents that donated gifts for the prize tables, as well as brought donations of food and supplies for our carnival food stations. The Tiger Den also put on a spectacular Magic Show, with Ringleader and MC Diana hosting and entertaining us. All 10 tigers performed their own magic trick. Afterwards, we were fortunate enough to have Funny Eddie join us to entertain the crowd. What a stellar night! Photos can be found in our Private Facebook group and a few selections on our Instagram page.
We also ended the month with our annual Flag Placement ceremony at the Los Angeles National Cemetery, where scouts placed flags on 90,000 graves to honor those who served..

June was the pinnacle of our scouting season, with a special Bridging Ceremony and AOL Crossover. We transformed Fellowship Hall into a colorful and vibrant stage, with 12 tables set up outside by Den Leader Deanna, each decorated with 1 of the 12 Scout Laws and a custom centerpiece highlighting an important event from our year (pinewood derby, camping, rockets, ice skating, etc..). Each scout received a special custom 3D printed Pack 911 neckerchief slide, designed by Den Leader Mark and printed by Mike, one of our scout dads. Cubmaster Jeff lit the "flames" and guided each den across the bridge to their new rank. The Webelos were "knighted" with his grandfather's sword as they bridged to Arrow of Light to become the leaders of the pack. Den Leader Travis was recognized in his new role as Assistant Cubmaster.
We hosted a full Italian buffet dinner for Pack 911 families and Troops 92 and 320, who joined us for the latter half of evening for the AOL crossover. Our AOL scouts were welcomed by the Order of the Arrow, and received special certificates from John Lee. Den Leader Daphne held a special ceremony guiding some of our scouts back to their families, and then the remaining scouts bridged to be welcomed by their new Troops from 92B and 92G, and 320. Afterwards, we served cake and cleaned up and finished in record time! All of the special touches made the evening memorable and showcased all the hard work of both our scouts and our parents. We're so proud of each and every one of them!
