Dear Pack 911 Families,
Last Friday we had our last traditional pack meeting, led by Assistant Cubmaster Travis where we welcomed our newest scouts with our Bobcat ceremony, gave awards to parents for their outstanding contributions, and also gave advancements and patches for our scouts. Wolf Den Leader Deanna also received her first den leader knot for her hard work over the past year. Afterwards, the dens split up into groups to work on conservation themed activities led by Den Leader Daphne, including planting flowers at our butterfly waystation, making pine cone birdfeeders and practicing recycling. As we approach May, we look forward to closing out our 24-25 Program Year with more fun events like our May 10th Bike Rodeo at NUMC, May 18th scout Sunday service at NUMC and our May 24th Memorial Day flag placement at the National cemetery.
25-26 Program Planning: Our Cub Scout Program would not be as successful without the input and help of our parents. We invite anyone that would like to participate and contribute to planning an exceptional 25-26 Scouting Year to join us on May 18th at the Wienckowski residence for a potluck luncheon. Please reach out to me, Heidi or Committee Chair Tyler directly if you're interested in joining us to discuss what events and adventures we should include for our scouts. Or send us an email at pack911northridge@gmail.com.
Yours in Scouting,
Cubmaster Jeff

A Cub Scout can join midstream during the Cub Scout program, and they will not need to accomplish any of the requirements for the earlier ranks. The scout will just begin at the appropriate level according to their age.
However EVERY new scout must complete the Bobcat Rank requirements (the 1st adventure)
