Navigation on your account can be a bit confusing. Here's a rundown of what you can find under the most commonly used tabs. If you don't see the tab you're looking for, reach out to us at authors@textbroker.com!
The Home tab is the default that will have more basic information for you, but you can also access our author forum from here!
Start: After you submit your signup article, the home page is where you can see some basic information, like your nickname and star level. You can also set up 2-factor authentication for security (highly recommended).
Forum: The forum is for our authors to make posts about various things. You can ask for help from other authors or even just socialize and talk about things beyond writing! We do monitor for inappropriate content, so keep it clean and friendly please! You can learn more about our forums here.
Here you can find orders, our advancement test, and the feedback on your ratings!
Show Orders: This is where you'll be able to find any orders that we have available for you. You'll be able to see them broken down by category and by star level.
Team Orders: Here you can find what teams you're already on, and you can see the open casting calls for teams you can apply to.
Direct Orders: In this section, you'll be able to see what Direct Orders you currently have, which clients they're for, and the deadlines for each one.
5-star Advancement Test: You can only become eligible for 5 stars after passing our 5-star Advancement Test. Note: Passing does not automatically put you at 5 stars. To learn more about becoming 5 stars, click here.Â
Statistics: Your statistics page shows you all the orders you've done and their statuses. You'll also be able to review feedback given by the editors by clicking on "See details of rating" under the "Current Quality Level" section.
Under this tab, you can set up your public profile, request your pay-out, and close your account if you want to.
Pay-Out: Everyone's favorite! Here is where you can see your current balance and request your pay-out. Please review the notes on this page about when you can request a pay-out and the fee for requesting additional pay-outs.
My User Data: You can change your contact information here if you need to. You can also create a new password, set up two-factor authentication, and set up your Payoneer if you haven't already.
Public Profile: This section is to make yourself stand out to clients! You can add your resume, add writing samples, and tell us about your interests and what you'd like to write about.
