Teams are groups that authors can join as long as they meet certain requirements. There are tons of teams that cover a wide range of topics - you can find some with orders about cars, fashion, and a few that cover a variety of things based on the client's needs!
Different teams have different writing requirements, such as the word count, amount of HTML, and the research required, which also means that every team will have their own pay rate - you can see this information before applying so that you can decide if a team is right for you.
Some teams are private, which means you have to be invited in order to join. If you're invited, this means that your work has stood out to a Project Manager, and they think you might be a good fit for what they need! Congrats!
Other teams are open for application. You can find these by going to Assignments > Team Orders and scrolling down to Apply For Casting Call Teams.
When you click on a team, you'll be able to see the requirements, conditions, and the application box. Please make sure to double-check if there's a star requirement: Many teams are looking for 4-star authors or higher. You should read the conditions of the teams as well - some of them require that you write at least one team order a month or else they might kick you off, which is no fun.
Teams can be either Managed or Self-Service, so who to contact with any questions will vary. Managed teams (with a star next to the name) have Project Managers through Textbroker. You should be able to find the PM's email address at the end of the order briefing. Otherwise, you can reach out to managedclients@textbroker.com. If it's a Self-Service team, you'll need to reach out to the client directly.
