The ECOSOC committee discussed the de-dollarization efforts of India, Japan and China, who allegedly hacked the top 5 banks in the USA.
“The US dollar has lost trust. Breaking principles such as conflicting with international principles of sovereignty, the US has broken rules and moreover increased the rate of interest to lower the economy of other countries.” the delegate of India stated.
The delegate of Ukraine proclaimed with a clear sense of exasperation that the sanctions imposed by the USA are in compliance with international law.
The delegate of Ukraine voiced their concerns, saying, "China is well advanced in terms of computer intelligence and there is a good chance that China hacked the security system of the USA."
The delegate of Russia stated that though China was suspected of hacking the USA's security system US should have been responsible for its weak security, making it untrustworthy as a reserve currency.
"Won't more debt or nations take out loans in dollars if the trade currency is changed?" the delegate of Valederitan city exclaimed angrily.
Replying to the delegate of Valedictorian city, Brazil assures that BRICS members are concerned about transaction and promises to look after the problem.
“BRICS countries lack alliance and transparency that's why de-dollarization shouldn’t be supported!,” the delegate of South Korea stated.
The delegate of Ukraine agreed and supported the delegate of South Korea stating that although there was a hustle about BRICS currency, the currency of BRICS wasn't revealed, questioning how could the delegates be in support of de-dollarization.
“Everything takes time and creating a new currency will also take time. It may take 10 to 20 years but in the future it will be able to replace the dollar and make BRICS currency as a reserved currency for trading” the delegate of India stated.
Moving towards the end of discussion the delegate of India raised a motion for resolution about de-dollarization and search for alternative methods for world reserve currency. With two third majority the motion passes.
