The government was being pressed for not taking any steps for the development of the agriculture foundation, which is required for a sustainable and independent economy.

The delegate of Prithvi Subba Gurung stated,”The party CPN UML encourages farmers to practice modern farming.”

Agriculture is the art and science of cultivating the soil, growing crops, and raising livestock according to Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

“Prithvi Subba Gurung has failed to adjust to the challenges of climate change in his area.”; The delegate of Sita Gurung commented on the GSL of the delegate of Prithvi Subba Gurung.

Jwala Kumari Shah, the minister of agriculture, resigned after the 13 days he spent in office.  

Pushpa Kamal Dahal was curious as to why the delegate resigned. He asked whether it was due to his party forcing him,or due to him being a failure. 

The delegate Pushpha Kamal Dahal  added, “The delegate of Jwala Kumari Shah mentioned in one of his speeches that the delegate will focus on exports rather than imports. It is not found to be applied. Is he a man of his words?”

The saying of Puspha Kamal Dahal left a silence for the delegate of Jwala Kumari Dahal. The delegate of Gagan Kumar Thapa also stated that there was a fertilizer storage during the time of CPN UML.

The delegate, Juli Kumari Mahato declared, “Most of the farmers in Nepal have small agriculture fields, which causes issues in the economic stages of Nepal.”

Bhagawati Chaudhary divulged that modernization in agriculture fields can boost the economy of Nepal.

The delegate of Prithvi Subba Gurung accused the delegate of CK Raut ,“There was a huge agriculture scam in the province where CK Raut was elected, the Madesh Pradesh. The fake seed scam, which led to the growth of low-quality crops, was found to be growing rapidly.”

The delegate is Madhav Kumar Nepal proclaimed that  lack of irrigation and infrastructure caused Nepal to use the good resource of fertilizers, which allowed them to buy fertilizers illegally. 

The delegate of Prithvi Subba Gurung stated, "Dishonest suppliers were found, but general security in Nepal was not serious about it.”

The delegate of Puspa Kamal Dahal asserted that Nepal will export 1 lakh 50 thousand liters of urea and 1 lakh 35 thousand liters of chemical fertilizers. With that, the committee adjourned.
