The government of Nepal was accused of not paying attention and not promoting renewable energy.
The delegate of Sher Bahadur Deuba also stated “The delegates party is working on non-renewable resources.”
All the delegates of CPN UML pointed out the lack of governmental attention and the party was also accused of being irresponsible towards the country's state and mainly the rural areas.
"If Nepal can produce a sufficient amount of alternative energy, Nepal can produce the energy for itself and would not have to depend upon others," said the delegate of Madhav Kumar Nepal.
The delegate of Madhav Kumar Nepal supported the delegate's statement by saying all the citizens of Nepal should be able to use renewable resources as it saves time, money, and the health of the environment. It is very useful for the citizens, and the government has also developed agencies and been working to promote renewable resources.
"What type of change did the delegate of KP Oli bring to renewable energy?" The delegate of Puspa Kamal Dahal interrogated the delegate of KPSharma Oli.
The delegate of KP Sharma Oli replied by stating that the delegate has been organizing many programs to promote and produce renewable energy in Nepal, mainly focusing on rural areas.
"It is better to use solar energy and other renewable energy than non-renewable energy as it supplies electricity 100% more than non-renewable resources, "the delegate of Rajendra Prasaad Lingden stated.
The delegate of Bhagwati Chaudhary accused the government by expressing concern about whether or not the government has promised to reach out to rural areas and promote renewable resources.
"The government’s party has been trying to get the attention of investors to promote renewable resources in rural areas, the delegate of Arzu Rana said.
The delegate of Madhav Kumar Nepal encouraged the other delegates by suggesting to use renewable energy instead of non-renewable energy, as it is essential and citizens should be able to obtain the resources at a cheap cost. It is better to use solar panels instead of electricity.
"In 2020, the delegate Sher Bahadur Deuba said he would help in windmill projects, but there are only a few results and there have still been no effects seen in Nepal", the delegate of KP Sharma Oli accused.
The delegate of Sher Bahadur Deuba said the delegate’s party is working on hydropower projects in various parts of Nepal.
"The government has been trying to put biogas sectors in rural areas of Nepal," the delegate of Madhav Kumar Nepal stated.
