Duck Women win NCAA west Regional CC

The No. 2 Oregon women's cross country team today won the 2018 NCAA West Regional Championship.

With the win they secure a spot at next week's NCAA Championship.

7. Weronika Pyzik – 19:35.4

13. Carmela Cardama Baez – 19:55.1

For the second-consecutive race, the trio of Hull, Ejore and Pyzik paced the Ducks to a team title. Hull and Ejore crossed the finish line in second and third, respectively, while Pyzik was seventh overall. In another show of consistency, Cardama Baez and Brauer have been fourth and fifth in the scoring lineup in four-straight events.

Behind a strong, top-10 performance by senior Blake Haney the Oregon men finished fifth

They now await at-large selections.
