Analysis
In my literature review, I explored how experiential learning impacts students in academic libraries, particularly regarding their satisfaction, skill development, and career readiness. I focused on key concepts like competency-based and experiential learning, using methods such as surveys, interviews, and focus groups to gather data. I connected these ideas to the ways libraries plan and implement their programs, highlighting how these initiatives can enhance student engagement and improve learning outcomes. This analysis helped me appreciate the vital role that experiential learning plays in shaping a positive academic experience for students.
Reflection
While I feel that I did a solid job of explaining concepts, using various research methods, and evaluating results in academic libraries, I recognize that there’s always room for improvement. I could have been more thorough in assessing the effectiveness of my methods, like surveys, and I should have explored other ways to gather more detailed insights. Additionally, I need to pay more attention to ethical issues, such as ensuring privacy and properly addressing informed consent. These reflections will help me strengthen my research practices moving forward.
