Analysis
I chose this assignment because it aligns with my passion for leadership and highlights how crucial it is in project planning. The assignment discusses the difference between a manager and a leader, emphasizing that people are often more one than the other. It also points out that leadership is something you can learn and develop over time. I shared personal experiences that have shaped my perspective on becoming an effective manager and leader. I explored different leadership and management strategies, examining what worked and what didn’t. For example, I talked about how Jason Battles improved the University of Arkansas Library by focusing on clear communication and transparency, which helped me better understand the key factors for successful leadership.
