Analysis
For my final project, I organized a messy sheet music collection for the praise and worship team at Mountainburg First Assembly (MFA) church. This project focused on important learning goals by creating a clear system that makes it easier to access and use the collection.
I looked at how the current search worked, compared different cataloging methods, and suggested a digital solution for future growth. This experience showed me how to identify problems, come up with solutions, and improve access to information.
Reflection
Looking back on this project, I realized how important clear and consistent cataloging is for making a disorganized collection user-friendly. I faced challenges with inconsistent terminology and how to structure the information, which required teamwork and a good understanding of cataloging principles.
This experience taught me the value of ongoing learning and inspired me to seek more user feedback and look into advanced digital solutions for future projects.
