What: Full-ride scholarships to UNC Chapel Hill, NC State, UNC Charlotte, Davidson, NCCU, NC A&T, ECU, and Duke
Who: High-achieving seniors
When: August - September (fall semester)
Where: Student Services
How: Must submit an interest form, interview, and be chosen by SSS to be the school's nomination
What: $10,000 scholarship to attend 1 of the 16 public UNC System universities
Who: Seniors who are members of the State Employee's Credit Union or are the child of a member of SECU
When: January - February (spring semester)
Where: Student Services
How: Must interview and be selected by SSS.
What: 20 scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000
Who: Graduating seniors planning to enroll in college in the fall following senior year
When: March - April (spring semester)
Where: Student Services
How: Complete 1 application to be considered for 20+ different county level scholarships. No interview required.
These processes are for seniors only. Big 8 happens in the fall semester of senior year and SECU and 20-for-1 happen in the spring semester of senior year.
