Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Terra: World Holiday Calendar (the “App”) handles information when you use its calendar, holiday, day-note, reminder and advertising features.
The App is provided by OuiApps - Super Aps (“we,” “us,” or “our”). For privacy questions or requests, contact us at srnsuperapps@gmail.com.
The App can store preferences and content locally on your device, including:
your selected country, language, theme, calendar view and category filters;
cached holiday data used to improve loading and limited offline availability;
day notes you create, including their title, time, details and reminder status.
Day notes are designed to remain in the App’s local storage. We do not operate an account or cloud-sync service for these notes, and the App does not intentionally transmit their text to us. You can remove local data by deleting individual notes, clearing the App’s storage or uninstalling the App. Clearing storage or uninstalling may permanently delete your notes.
To retrieve current public-holiday information, the App may request holiday data from the Nager.Holidays/Nager.Date service. A request can include the country code and year you selected. As with most internet services, the service provider and its infrastructure may receive technical information such as your IP address, request time, browser or device information and network logs. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policy.
If live data is unavailable, the App may use previously cached data or built-in offline rules. The App does not use IP-based geolocation to select your country.
The App may display advertisements, including interstitial advertisements, provided through Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK. Google and participating advertising partners may automatically collect, receive or process information such as:
your device’s advertising identifier or other app/device identifiers;
IP address and general location derived from it;
device type, operating system, language, network information and App version;
ad impressions, clicks, interactions and conversion information;
diagnostic, fraud-prevention and performance information.
This information may be used to provide, personalize and measure ads, limit repeated ads, report aggregate performance, prevent fraud and maintain security. Depending on your region, consent choices and device settings, ads may be personalized, non-personalized or limited. Where required by law, including in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the App will request consent or present privacy choices before using personal data for personalized advertising. We intend to use Google’s User Messaging Platform or another Google-certified consent management platform for this purpose.
You may withdraw or change an advertising consent choice through the privacy-options control made available in the App. You can also control or reset your Android advertising identifier through your device’s privacy and advertising settings. Withdrawing consent does not necessarily remove all ads; it may result in non-personalized or limited ads.
Google requires an appropriate certified consent platform for eligible personalized-ad traffic in these regions. More information is available in Google’s consent-management requirements.
If you enable a reminder, the App may request permission to show a notification. Reminder information is stored locally. Browser or WebView reminders may work only while the App is open, and system-notification availability depends on the device and application wrapper. You can disable notification permission at any time in your device settings.
Depending on the law that applies to you, information may be processed to:
provide the App features you request and remember your choices;
retrieve holiday data and maintain service reliability;
display, measure and secure advertisements;
comply with legal obligations and protect users, the App and advertising services.
Applicable legal bases may include performance of a requested service, consent, compliance with legal obligations and legitimate interests such as security, fraud prevention and non-personalized advertising, where permitted.
We do not sell your day-note content. Technical and advertising information may be processed by Google, advertising partners, consent providers and infrastructure or holiday-data providers as described above. These providers may act as independent controllers or processors under their own terms and privacy notices. Information may also be disclosed if required by law or necessary to protect legal rights, safety and service integrity.
Local preferences, cached holiday data and notes remain on your device until you remove them, clear the App’s storage or uninstall the App. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods according to their policies, legal requirements and advertising configurations. We do not control those third-party retention periods.
Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where required, providers use recognized legal safeguards for international transfers. Please review the linked third-party policies for additional details.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to certain processing, withdraw consent, or receive a copy of certain personal data. Because day notes are stored locally and are not associated with an account on our servers, you normally manage them directly on your device. For requests concerning information controlled by us, contact srnsuperapps@gmail.com. For advertising data controlled by Google or another advertising provider, use that provider’s privacy controls or contact it directly.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not specifically directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request names, contact details or account information from children. If the App is later enrolled in a children or families program, advertising requests and consent handling must be configured separately to comply with the applicable age and family requirements.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the App’s design. However, no device, local storage system, internet transmission or third-party service can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Protect access to your device, especially if your notes contain private information.
The App may open external pages, including its Google Play listing or third-party information pages. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of external services.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, advertising setup, service providers or legal requirements change. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or through the store listing where appropriate.
