This Privacy Policy explains how the following Android applications (together, the “Apps”) handle information. It applies to all three Apps equally.

The Apps are published by OuiApps (“we”, “us”). The Apps are free to download, are supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob, and do not require an account.
In short: we (the developer) do not operate servers and do not receive your personal information. Your notes, highlights, bookmarks, reading place and settings stay on your device. The Apps show ads through Google AdMob, which collects certain device information (such as the advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions) to deliver, measure and, where you allow it, personalize ads. Streamed chapter audio is requested from a third-party audio server.
We, the developer, do not ask for, collect or receive:
your name, email address, phone number or any account details;
your precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera;
payment information (the Apps have no purchases or subscriptions).
We do not operate servers that receive data from the Apps. Information collected by Google AdMob for advertising is described in section 4 and is processed by Google, not stored by us. We may see aggregated, non-identifying reports from AdMob (for example, how many ads were shown).
To make the Apps useful, some information is saved locally in the App’s private storage on your device:
Reading place (book, chapter, verse) and last chapter opened - Let you continue where you stopped
Audio position, playback speed, sleep timer and auto-advance choice - Resume and control chapter audio
Bookmarks, highlights and personal notes - Keep the verses that matter to you
Text size, line spacing, justified text and light/night theme - Remember your reading preferences
This information never leaves your device through the Apps, is not synced to any cloud service and is not accessible to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the App’s data in Android settings (Settings › Apps › [App name] › Storage › Clear data) or by uninstalling the App. Once deleted, it cannot be recovered.
If you use the Copy function, the selected verse text is placed on your device’s clipboard, where other apps you choose to use may be able to read it.
The Bible text and search work offline. Chapter audio is streamed from third-party audio providers and requires an internet connection. When you play audio, your device connects directly to the provider’s servers to download the audio file. As with any website or online media, those servers automatically receive standard technical information such as your IP address, the requested audio file, the time of the request and basic device/browser information (user agent).
We do not control and do not receive this information. It is handled under the providers’ own policies:
If you do not play audio, the Apps do not need to connect to the internet for reading or searching.
The Apps display banner, interstitial or other ads provided by Google AdMob, a service of Google LLC (or Google Ireland Limited for users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland). To show ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the Apps may automatically collect and share with Google:
your device’s advertising ID (Android Advertising ID) and app-set ID;
your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (coarse) location, such as country or city;
device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language, screen size and app version;
ad interaction and performance data, such as ads viewed or tapped, and diagnostic information such as crash logs related to the ad SDK.
Google uses this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and abuse, and, where permitted, show ads based on your interests. Google may use cookies or similar technologies for these purposes. For details, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and How Google uses advertising.
Your choices. Where required by law (for example in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland), the Apps ask for your consent before personalized ads are shown, using Google’s consent tools; you can change your choice later through the privacy options offered in the App, if available, or by clearing the App’s data. On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalized ads, in Settings › Google › Ads (or Settings › Privacy › Ads, depending on your device). If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant.
The Apps use only the permissions needed to function: internet and network-state access (to stream chapter audio and load ads), the advertising ID permission used by the Google Mobile Ads SDK, and, where applicable, permissions that keep audio playing or the screen awake while listening. The Apps do not request access to your precise location, contacts, camera, microphone or personal files.
The Apps are distributed through Google Play. Google may collect information in connection with downloading, installing and updating apps, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy. Your device’s operating system may also create its own backups of app data depending on your settings. These activities are outside our control.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not receive it ourselves. Device and advertising data are shared with Google through the AdMob SDK only for the advertising purposes described in section 4. Under some laws (such as California’s), sharing data for personalized advertising may be considered “sharing”; you can limit it using the Android ad settings or consent choices described above.
The Apps are intended for a general audience and are not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has used the Apps and you want ads for that device to be limited, you can turn off ad personalization in the device settings described in section 4, or contact us.
Your locally saved data is kept in the App’s private storage, which Android protects from other apps. Protecting your device with a screen lock helps keep this information private. Audio streams and ads are delivered by third-party servers that we do not operate.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Union, the UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act or India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of personal data, to withdraw consent and to object to personalized advertising. Where the GDPR applies, personalized ads are shown only with your consent, and non-personalized ads rely on the legitimate interest of funding a free app. We hold no personal data about you on our side; App data stays on your device (section 2). For advertising data processed by Google, you can use the controls in section 4 or visit My Ad Center and Google’s Privacy Policy. For audio server logs, contact the audio provider.
