PRIVACY POLICY
This Privacy Policy explains how your information is collected, used, and shared when you use the Calm Sleep Sounds Mixer mobile application (the "App").
Welcome to Calm Sleep Sounds Mixer. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring a safe, relaxing experience. The App is designed as a night-inspired listening space for relaxing music, sleep sounds, guided meditation, nature ambience, and quiet focus. We do not require you to create an account, and your listening preferences (such as favorites and queues) are stored locally on your device.
To provide and improve our services, we may collect or process certain types of information when you use the App:
Local Data: Your saved favorite tracks, recent listening history, and your Constellation Queue are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
Usage Data: We may collect anonymous diagnostic and usage data (such as crash reports, app performance metrics, and device information like OS version and device model) to help us maintain and improve the App's stability.
Network Information: An active internet connection is required to stream the curated sound worlds from our library. As part of standard streaming protocols, your IP address is temporarily exposed to the content delivery networks hosting the audio files.
Our App is provided free of charge and is supported by advertising. We use third-party advertising services, specifically Google AdMob, to display interstitial ads and other ad formats within the App.
Google AdMob AdMob may use advertising IDs (such as the Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve ads that are relevant to your interests, limit the number of times you see a specific ad, and measure the effectiveness of ad campaigns. AdMob may collect data such as:
Device IP address
Device identifiers (e.g., Google Advertising ID)
App usage and interaction data related to advertisements
You can manage your advertising preferences or opt out of personalized ads through your Android device settings (Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization).
Andromo & Analytics The App is built using the Andromo platform and may include built-in analytics to measure user engagement. These services collect aggregated, non-personally identifiable information.
Calm Sleep Sounds Mixer is intended strictly for relaxation, meditation, and entertainment purposes. It is not a medical device. The App does not collect health or medical data, nor does it diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition (such as insomnia, anxiety, or depression).
We value your trust in providing us with your information. While no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we rely on standard commercial practices (such as HTTPS connections for audio streaming) to protect the integrity of the App. Because user choices stay on the device, the risk of data breaches concerning personal listening habits is minimized.
The App does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
If you have any questions, suggestions, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or the practices of Calm Sleep Sounds Mixer, please contact the developer through the contact information provided on our Google Play Store listing.
