Deploying the Minuteman

1. Face transverse bed on nozzle side of engine.

2. Remove left stack (100 feet, with nozzle) from hose bed approximately two feet.

• Place RIGHT hand under nozzle, and LEFT hand on top of hose stack.

3. Place stack on RIGHT shoulder, turning counter-clockwise; step away from the engine until shoulder load is clear.

4. Reach back with LEFT hand and grasp the pull loops.

5. Step away from the engine, clearing hosebed.

6. Advance toward target, releasing each pull loop as it is pulled tight.

• After the first 100 feet is exhausted, the remaining 100 feet will pay out from the FF’s right shoulder from the top.
