HOW TO LOAD REAR 2 ½” 150’ PRE CONNECTED HOSE LINE

1. Take position

a. One firefighter in hose bed, one firefighter at tailboard

b. Third can assist

2. Connect first length

a. Pigtail to hose bed discharge

3. Lay hose flat

a. First two leaves even with the end of the hose bed

b. Third leaf, make pull loop

c. Load remainder of first 50’ of hose i. Leave 3’ tail with male coupling to complete connection to shouldered load

ii. Flip up at front of hose bed

4. Place nozzle connected to second length

a. In hose bed

b. Even with hose bed dividers

c. On top of stack loaded 50’

d. Stack load hose

i. To the front of the hose bed

ii. First fold behind bale

iii. Ensuing folds even with nozzle.

5. Connect third length

a. Coupling up over the nozzle

b. Stack load hose

c. Finish with male coupling flipped out front of bed

6. Connect second and third lengths

a. At front of hose bed
