Lift ladder

Place outside hand beneath bottom beam
To high shoulder carry
Setting lower beam on shoulder
Move toward ladder base
To find balance point
Bend at knees
Back straight
Pick ladder up off ground
Carry ladder towards objective
Butt of ladder angled slightly downward
Check and clear overhead
