Miller Beach is just a few steps from my apartment. From the shore, Lake Michigan looks like an ocean.
I slept in this morning, made my coffee, and drove an hour and a half to South Haven, Michigan, a charming resort town on the eastern shore.
On my way home, I detoured to South Bend, Indiana to visit the University of Notre Dame. I saw a bunch of students wearing caps and gowns, as it happened to be their commencement weekend. The campus is beautiful with historic buildings, like the Basilica, the Golden Dome, and the famous Touchdown Jesus.
