I'm in San Bernardino, home of the original McDonald's. If you haven't seen the movie "The Founder", I recommend it. Michael Keaton plays Ray Kroc, who saw the McDonald brothers' business, kicked them out, and built the empire as we know today. I remember Mr. Kroc back in the 80s as the owner of San Diego Padres. He saved Padres from relocating out of San Diego.
Ken introduced me to a super delicious French Dip Hot Pastrami sandwich at Johnnie's in Culver City.
