Hosting Captain Steve Worthington welcomed 14 'gringos' to Bandit Country! The weather was fair and the course was in great nick.
The format was 5 x three balls, with two players scores to count from each team. There was also an individual competition which was won by Roger Halston from Leasowe County with 33 points on a CPO from Peter Hurst and Graham Oakes. The team event was won by a posse of Alan James, Graham Oakes and Graham Bailey.
There was also a nearest the pin prize of a bottle of tequila (what else?) which was won by Graham Oakes. Graham also won the 'worst shot of the day' prize which, appropriately, was a bag of lemons, so a fitting combination.
Once everyone had been rounded up they were fed on Mexican Chicken, followed by Churros and Chocolate Sauce, which everyone seemed to enjoy. It was a welcome change for the host as, in these parts, he usually has burritos and fajitas!
