The mausoleum of Musa SHERMAN was built at a distance of one kilometer from the village of Musa Sherman (the former name of Tendik) in Bayanaul district. The mausoleum is built of shell rock, its height is 9 meters, and the total area is 500 square meters.
The surrounding area has been landscaped and a road has been laid. Along the road leading to the mausoleum, there are granite stones that depict the periods of Musa Shorman's life and the memories of his contemporaries. The mausoleum was erected on the initiative of the rector of the Pavlodar state pedagogical University Altynbek Nukhula on the eve of the 200th anniversary of Musa Shorman in the fall of 2018.
Musa Shormanuly held the following positions in different years: in 1835-1841 – head of Akkelin parish, head of the district order, in 1853-1868 – Sultan-ruler of the Bayanaul outer district, in 1868-1884 – adviser to the West Siberian General government.
In addition to administrative work, he was engaged in educational activities. He helped open schools for Kazakh children in Pavlodar and Omsk, which gave rise to a whole galaxy of prominent scientists, teachers, cultural and art figures in the XIX-XX centuries in Bayanaul.
In the new mausoleum, a tombstone made in 1885 by V. A. Svechnikov and brought from Yekaterinburg is preserved as a fact of historical events. The mausoleum of Musa Shorman and the place of the family estate of the Shorman Biya dynasty, as well as the Museum "Historical figures of the native village" are part of the historical and memorial complex "Akkelin", which is included in the list of sacred places in Kazakhstan.
