Sasha & Yulia Zibarov work with Cru and Ukraine for Christ where Sasha serves as the National Country Director, overseeing about 120 national staff members. Ukraine for Christ is an interdenominational Christian organization that has been working in Ukraine since 1991. In their ministry they focus on evangelism, proclaiming salvation from sins through faith in Jesus Christ and discipleship helping Christians grow in their walk with God.  Ministry focuses on students, leadership development, sports and military outreach, and family life.  

Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, many aspects of ministry have changed, but the work of Ukraine for Christ continues!  The Yellow Box Project is a new outreach that takes a series of 4 food/aid boxes, delivered weekly to needy families in remote villages in Ukraine.  This is a vital and effective way UFC missionaries are caring for people in great need and sharing the hope of salvation in Jesus Christ.  So far they have been able to distribute tens of thousands of boxes.

The Zibarovs covet your prayers for their family, their ministry, and their nation.  Because of the war, they have had to move to Hungary, but their work continues with trips into Ukraine and through online tools.  They also asks us to pray for the Cru staff members who are currently serving in dangerous combat situations in the army, and to pray that this war will end soon in a way that ensures Ukraine's security and freedom.
