Mission Aviation Repair Center
Soldotna, Alaska
“Our mission is to expand the reach of the Gospel in Alaska by:
Flying people and supplies where there are no roads,
Supporting other missionaries & their aircraft,
Training missionary-minded pilots & mechanics.”
MARC has been serving from Soldotna, Alaska since 1964. Using a variety of aircraft and in partnership with Samaritan’s Purse, they provide cost-shared passenger & cargo transportation to pastors and their families, missionaries, churches, para-church organizations, Bible camps, and short-term work groups conducting ministry activity in Alaska, Far Eastern Russia, and Northern Canada.
In addition to supporting ongoing youth development and community improvements, our combined mission efforts enable rapid response to provide relief aid & services during emergency situations across Alaska. MARC also operates a maintenance facility that maintains and repairs the aircraft of ministry affiliates at a much reduced cost to these ministries. MARC’s Flight School offers ground school and flight instruction for several small aircraft.
