Since March of 2012, Josh and Heather Dunn, along with their daughter Hattie and sons Zac and Teo, have served as church-planting missionaries in Zacatecas, Mexico. Their ministry focuses on three primary commitments: Evangelism — proclaiming the gospel and calling men and women to repentance and faith in Christ; Discipleship — grounding believers in Scripture and helping them grow in spiritual maturity; Leadership Development — training and equipping qualified men to serve as elders and deacons within the local church.
By God’s grace, as the ministry has matured, the Lord has allowed this church-planting effort to multiply. There are now six elders, with two more in training, that make up the leadership of the five church plants connected to this ministry: the main Zacatecas Bible Church which was established in 2014; the church in Guadalupe that became autonomous in January of 2026; the church in Río Verde, located approximately four hours from Zacatecas, which is still waiting on the Lord to raise up leaders; a congregation in the community of Los Hernández, about one hour from Guadalupe; and a developing church plant in Ojocaliente, a town just thirty minutes from the city.
Each of these churches is committed to expository preaching, a plurality of elders, intentional discipleship, and the training of national leadership. The goal is not dependency on outside leadership, but the establishment of self-governing, self-supporting, and self-propagating local churches. The Dunn family remains committed to strengthening these congregations and continuing the work of church planting throughout the region.
If you would like to partner with this ministry — whether by helping purchase Bibles and Christian resources, supporting leadership training, or contributing to church-planting projects — you may contact jdunn@biblicalministries.org or visit www.biblicalministries.org and select “Support” and then “Give.” Please designate your donation to the Dunn “Church Project Fund.”
Thank you for your faithful partnership in the gospel and for investing in the long-term establishment of healthy, biblical churches in Mexico.

Prayer Requests
1️⃣ Leadership Development and Maturity. That the Lord would continue raising up qualified, godly men to serve as elders and deacons in each of the five congregations. Ask that these leaders would shepherd faithfully, guard sound doctrine, and model Christlike character as they guide their churches toward greater maturity.
2️⃣ Our newest ministry partners David & Grace Illescas. That the Lord would raise up their financial and prayer support so they can join the work in Zacatecas by this summer. They are currently at 60% of their needed goal!
3️⃣ Unity and Strength in the Autonomous Churches. As the churches in Guadalupe and Los Hernández continue functioning autonomously, pray for unity among their leadership teams, wisdom in decision-making, and perseverance in shepherding. Ask that each congregation would grow not only numerically, but in spiritual depth and doctrinal conviction.
4️⃣ Endurance and Faithfulness in Evangelism. For continued boldness and clarity in gospel proclamation throughout Zacatecas and the surrounding communities. Ask the Lord to soften hearts, bring genuine conversions, and produce lasting fruit through faithful personal evangelism and preaching.
5️⃣ The Dunn Family’s Ongoing Ministry & Family. Please pray for strength, wisdom, and spiritual protection for Josh & Heather as they continue training leaders and supporting multiple congregations. Pray also for their children, for the salvation of Zac and Teo and that Hattie would continue to grow in her love for Christ and joy in serving alongside her parents in Mexico.
