Matthews with InterAct

Mike and Kathleen Matthews continue to serve half time with InterAct, a ministry focused on building up churches of reproducing disciples among indigenous, immigrant and unreached people groups across Alaska, western Canada and Siberia. Mike also serves half time as president of ETANA International, a newly created non-profit ministry focused on training and consulting missionaries working cross-culturally in church-planting ministries around the globe.

Since 1976 Mike has worked in Alaska, Canada, and Siberia in various cross-cultural ministry roles: church planter, Bible teacher, curriculum developer, field director, cross-cultural trainer and church planting consultant. Mike has a PhD in theological studies with an emphasis on philosophical hermeneutics.

Mike and Kathleen live near Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where they enjoy gardening and hiking. They have four children and ten grandchildren.
