R and K have been serving in Indonesia for 24 years. The last 14 years the Lord led them to a focus of discipleship in a people group that has claimed to be Christian for over 160 years, but the majority of people do not know they can have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Before, instead of learning that each individual must make a personal decision to accept Christ as their Savior, they were taught they receive their faith identity through their father. Now they are learning Truth, and the responsibility to share this gift with others.
Over the last 14 years, God has blessed with a working 60 acre cattle ranch that has been developed with the hope to support ministry outreach for generations to come. The ranch now has over 100 head of purebred cattle from Australia, 4 homes, 4 barns, 40 acres of pasture and a dormitory to house up to 20 male students to be discipled and trained in skills to support their personal ministries.
The ministry team works in 3 villages in the area, weekly doing children’s ministries to about 200 children, teen discipleship and women’s Bible studies. About 8 years ago, outreach began to a nearby college of Christian religion of about 2,000 students, where professors in the beginning believed there were no believers, but since then over 600 students have accepted Christ and weekly there are 6 groups of about 20 students wanting and learning for the first time Biblical Truth. These students are being prepared to be pastors, counselors and Christian educators.
