滾動傀儡另類劇場❛大人細路一起看❜系列的全新作品，再次取材經典文本，以當代角度重新詮釋安徒生童話《醜小鴨》！挑戰美與醜的定義、解放外貎與身份的羈絆、鬆開種族的成見，做隻敢與別人不一樣的醜… 天鵝？

滾動傀儡另類劇場過去成功塑造多齣於各地均極受歡迎的系列偶劇角色，這次我們將以兒童文學巨匠安徒生先生於1843年發表，自此家傳戶曉的《醜小鴨》為基礎創作全新偶劇；與活躍本地別樹一格的音樂人聯手創作，以近距離觀賞有趣的偶物與即時投影的戲偶影院，加上現場音樂，及觀演互動的形式，讓「大人細路」平起平坐，「一起看」戲！

🦆"Who decides who I am?"

Ugly Duckling has been regarded as an outlier since childhood because of his different appearance. Facing exclusion and bullying from family and friends, Duckling decided to run away from home! In the vast world, he encounters even more bizarre people and matters, and embarks on an adventurous journey of self-discovery. In this challenging life course, what will make him a real winner of life in the end? is its appearance? family background? Bloodline? Or……

☄️ Creative Concept

The new performance by Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre in our ❛Hello Grown-ups, Hello Kids❜ Series, is again inspired by legendary literature. This time we reinterpret Andersen's fairy tale <The Ugly Duckling> from a contemporary perspective. Challenge the definition of beauty and ugliness, liberate the fetters of appearance and identity, loosen racial stereotypes, and dare to be a unique Ugly... Swan?

🪜 Genre - Collective Art

The Rolling Puppet Alternative Theatre has successfully created a series of puppet characters that are popular both locally and abroad. This new puppet performance is based on the famous <Ugly Duckling> published in 1843 by Mr Hans Christian Andersen, the master of children's literature. The performance, co-created with talented musicians, let you watch the fascinating puppets at a close range in the form of Puppet Cinema Theatre made with real-time projection and amazing live music. The interactive performances would address "Grown-ups & Kids" on an equal footing, and watch the Play and be amazed TOGETHER!
