Using the topic of bullying as a basis, students design a series of components to be printed using a 3D printer. After conducting a preliminary analysis of the information, they create a sketch of an object they believe can help address bullying. Using this sketch as a reference, they design a 3D component using either Tinkercad or SketchUp. These 3D components are then downloaded in STL format. Subsequently, using the Repetier-Host program, they are converted into G-Code format, which is executable by the 3D printer. Finally, the components are printed and painted.
