The Advisory Council reviews student academic progress and regional market data analysis reports. The Advisory Council has a plan and monitoring mechanism to sustain STEM culture.

Georgia Milestones Assessment serves as an End-of-Grade (EOG) assessment in grades 3-5 with a benchmark year in fifth grade.

PLES Executive Summary
Since PLES began implementing STEM education, it has led to an increase in math and other content area scores. The integrated nature of STEM helps our students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. By engaging our students in hands-on, real-world problems in STEM, students gain a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and improve their ability to apply these skills in various contexts. The 4 Cs (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, & Critical Thinking) and other inquiry-based approaches, such as Claim, Evidence, and Reasoning (CER) in STEM often improve communication and literacy skills, potentially enhancing our student's performance in other content areas such as reading, writing, and science.
