Mrs. Alford, PLES Principal, asked parents and local businesses to be a speaker at our STEM Career Day to show students how their career involves at least one element of STEM. All students in grades Pre-K through fifth grade had the opportunity to visit multiple speakers as part of this learning activity.
We were fortunate to have 32 speakers, who work in STEM fields, deliver presentations and demonstrations to our students on STEM Career Day.
