We are...
...an unincorporated non-profit operating in the state of Idaho. The board meets quarterly and members are allowed to attend all meetings and to vote. We welcome your ideas and involvement.
...as Wiki defines it "En plein air is a French expression meaning in open air or on location, and refers to the act of painting outdoors with the artist's subject in full view."
...located in Idaho where the topography is widely varied and provides diverse subject matter for artists to enjoy and capture as they deal with changing weather and sunlight.
If you are an artist or not, may I encourage you to walk outside with a pencil and paper to sketch what you see and feel. It is certainly an experience for all the senses.
Along with paint outs we also offer workshops in various mediums. Visit the Events page and Calendar often to see what we are currently engaged in.
