Backstory and Curse (before becoming monster): As a human, Thump was a young pizza delivery boy and aspiring chef. He absolutely loved Italian cuisine, but was too young to be very well renowned and and needed to save up money for culinary school. One day on his usual pizza route, his scooter ran over a feral Zigzagoon, killing it. When he stopped his scooter to check on it, he realized it had a collar with a name on it and out of fear he ran away so it he couldn't be blamed. The next day on the same route he heard a little girl crying and realized it was her pet he had run over. In a moment of grief he started crying, feeling terrible for what he had done, and didn't pay attention to the road, getting hit by a car as the girl and her family watched, all of them getting traumatized by the event.

As a tenant, Thump was quite a fearful boy and was constantly feeling the sense of dread and danger that came with the manor. He didn't understand how people could be so calm and chill over the fact that they couldn't remember anything and were randomly dumped into a hellhole they cannot escape from. His sudden disappearance was of no complaint, as he would often lock himself in his rooms for days on end.
