Roth used to be a sloth that let others do things for them, but things have changed since their disappearance many winters ago. Though... they haven't lost their love of attention and compliments one bit.
Nowadays, Roth makes an effort to get their job duties done somewhat efficiently. They try to be a decent boss and actually do work before taking a long break in the staff room. They still don't enjoy doing anything above their pay grade, but their efforts should not be disregarded.
They are certainly still into luxury and prone having tantrums when they don't get their way, but the Meowth is making strides to control their emotions and be someone others can rely on. Roth isn't the most open person, but they're definitely less (openly) snarky and rude to others.

Roth used to see Maxwell as a brother, but their relationship has shattered after Klaus's death. Roth doesn't know if they can forgive Maxwell, much less believe him.
He's still such an oaf, so fragile for being such a strong guy and yet so clueless. I still look up to him a little bit sure, but I'm strong and independent now! I don't need anyone checking up on me...though I do appreciate it. I do enjoy attention after all.
Roth appreciates that Oasis allowed them to live at the ranch undetected. It might not be a huge deal to her, but it meant the world to Roth who needed to get away from it all. She certainly taught him that he needed to grow up and learn how to fend for himself instead of waiting for hand outs. For that, Roth is eternally grateful.
The other bellhops make the job worth it for Roth. Their help and camaraderie are much needed to keep the check-in process smooth. They believe this is one of the most essential jobs at the manor, and their co-workers deserve credit for doing more than their job descriptions asks of them!
Klaus is a role model for Roth. They love hanging out and goofing off with her. After Klaus's death Roth has been thrown into a deep depression. Time has passed, but Roth still misses Klaus.
