This bellhop is very attentive and generous, willing to help tenants with daily tasks as long as he doesn't feel too threatened. His mind is an iron trap, able to remember the smallest details even in his tired hazes... though outside of that he isn't too smart.
Maxwell is a bit jumpy and on edge most of the time. The only thing that mellows him out is when he gets exhausted. He is pretty cagey about his personal life and history, mostly wanting to maintain a professional relationship with tenants. Maxwell doesn't enforce boundaries particularly well though.
Maxwell is very self important, he believes that the manor would fall apart without him and he isn't entirely wrong.
He doesn't know his own strength and often breaks things on accident. Maxwell doesn't particularly like pets or pokemon in general, especially big ones.Â

Roth is Maxwell's other closest friend. He loves the little guy, but thinks they are a bit too easily influenced by Klaus's lack of motivation. Their relationship has grown strained after Klaus disappeared and Roth ran into the woods.
I am so relieved that they aren't dead! It's like my little sibling returned from a long journey far away and grew up without me...I couldn't be prouder of their new can-do attitude mixed in with their usual sass! I know great things are in store for them, starting with the promotion to head bellhop.
Maxwell really appreciates the help of the other managers as he adjusts to his new position. Being a manager is even harder than being a bellhop, so he truly appreciates all the help his co-workers provide him to keep the manor running smoothly. He still appreciates the bellhops that came before them.
Klaus was one if Maxwell's closest friends. She made his job hell, but he still considered her one of his best friends. He wouldn't have let her coast on his work if he didn't care about her... Recently Klaus went missing though, and Maxwell is still the prime suspect. Though much time has passed, Klaus' disappearance is still a touchy subject.
Maxwell is comfortable around Erik and feels able to relax and open up around him. Erik was always a wonderful employee and Maxwell appreciates him. Erik's energy can throw Maxwell off sometimes, but it is rather charming. He hopes that Erik enjoys his company as much as Maxwell enjoys being around him. Now that they are dating, he feels like maybe he is ready to open a bit more to somebody he trusts and get some much needed baggage off of his shoulders. He is happy Erik asked him out, because he would have never had the nerve to do it himself. They broke up, but since it was mutual he isn't too bothered by it (or least tries not to overthink it). He hopes he can take time to reflect on himself as a person and to grow past his current issues, and he always has room in his schedule to hangout with Erik...as a friend and fellow therapy patient.
