The tenants had all survived harsh conditions, some of them having helped some staff members directly while others carved their own paths through the undergrowth. Card and Ziyad had cleared some areas in the West Wing, Ceres had covered parts of the South Wing, and Morrigan screaming away vines in the South Wing that Ceres had left behind. Some Tenants helped in odder ways, with Pike’s pet Fang eating some vines near the main rooms or Kansas and Persephone making flower crowns out of hedges in the East Wing. Other groups just wandered around trying to make sense of the plants while clearing them, like Targa, Oliver, Winter, and Slick. Either way, everyone did all that they could to clear the vegetation and restore the manor to how it was before it was overtaken.
As the tenants have worked towards getting rid of the terrible plant life that has been invading their lives, most of the rooms seem to be freed of the green menace, save for the garden. Some brave tenants tried to make a dent in the garden only to discover some horrible things, using mostly their wits, a grass word, a gun, and a lot of flamethrowers thrown out on the field. They found the cause of the entire event and their exploration has opened a whole new realm into the situation at hand.
The group revealed that Taylor was behind the entire event, though purely on accident. It was said that she simply found someone (mostly the Crypt Servants) messing with her garden again and she had had enough, and tried using her legendary move Bloom Doom to make them pay, forgetting the major consequences it would have on the environment around the manor. She seemed to feel very bad about it, but she was also still weak from using it so long ago and not properly recovering. She was tired still and regaining power to be able to help tame the plants in her own gardening way. Until Bliss says she is fully recovered and is able to help, it is still up to the tenants to keep up with clearing out more of the plants...along with a new growing threat.
Some of the plant life has started to adversely affect the Crypt Servants due to invading the manor grounds for so long. All of the Crypt Servants have plants and vines growing off of them that help to reinforce them against attacks, making them even harder to defend against. It takes entire teams to take down a single Crypt already, so this danger must be resolved as soon as possible! Taylor speculates that the basement must be overgrown as well with roots from the plants topside, so it is up to anyone brave enough to venture back down there to try and get rid of the new infestation. Weston has made sign-up sheets for groups and even solo trips down into the basement to help clear out the damage, making his managers (forgetting one of them recently died and he only has one) in charge of organizing the lists whenever they get too long.
