As the intense heatwave continues, the suffering tenants find useful ways around it. Chouko had set up a large hangout on the roof, tons of tenants had a new summer wardrobe, and Star was handing out water to those who needed it. Whether they shaved fur, shed leaves from their antlers, or practically lived in the water, the tenants found wily ways around the heat wave currently beaming down on Woe Manor. Sadly, the heat didn’t lessen much with the passing of the month, even if it was slightly more bearable than before.
To make matters much worse, you wake up to a very sudden intrusion of your space, as each and every room in the manor is now overgrown with plant life breaking through the walls and windows. This is a major safety hazard since it makes you all a target for Crypts even in your own room, and the concerns voiced to the front desk probably didn’t even make it to Weston. The smug rat was probably on vacation...somehow. The tenants decided that they would band together to get rid of this new threat, and started forming groups dedicated to both getting rid of plants so the manor could restore itself and investigating the mysterious plant phenomenon that now plagues that manor.
The staff so far are nowhere to be seen, that is, until you see Seth breathing hot fire to clear the plants out of his kitchen in a fiery rage. Cass, once she is done swooning over him, tells the tenants that since every room is filled with plants, most staff might need some time to clear up their own rooms as well, including main rooms. It looks like most places in the manor are too densely packed to get into, so for now the kitchen is the main rendezvous point for the tenants.
