The night of chaos and death had concluded and a week or so had gone by, the staff were being very hush hush about the status of Cass, Merlot, and Lux. They were probably recovering... if they were alive at all that is.
A note was slipped under all tenants doors that morning. If it wasn’t for the bright orange and purple envelope, someone might have assumed it was a notice about the status of the staff. When it opened, black and orange confetti spilled out and a handwritten letter was enclosed.
Dear Lovely Tenants!
We apologize for the cancellation of Woe’s Manor’s annual masquerade ball. Cass was slated to organize the event and she is currently in no state to do so. However, I have planned something in exchange!
You’ve been invited to Woe Manor’s semi-official Halloween party! Please prepare your best costume and join us for a night of celebration, festivities, and fun!!!
The event will hold dances, cute spooky food, and possibly a contest or two... I hope to see you there!!
The party will be hosted within the manor’s dining hall, more details are on the back of this letter! Don’t worry about any accidents, I’m sure I’ll be able to handle any incidents reminiscent of last year!~ XOXO

The dining hall had been decorated to the nines, though black and orange didn’t seem to be Bliss’s favorite aesthetic, she had done a wonderful job setting this up. There were games, karaoke, some sweets that didn’t look as good as Cass’s but still decent. Bliss greeted guests at the door and checked their costumes. She was wearing a zombie costume with bright pink blood. Hopefully that wasn’t the leftovers from February...
It didn’t seem like every staff member was at the party though... Maybe they would show up later? It didn’t matter though, there were enough activities to hopefully get tenants minds off of the manor… Happy Halloween!
