The manor has become a more dangerous place as of late. More deaths have been happening, some at the hands of the unown, others at the hands of tenants. With the new crypt rising out of the ground, along with the applications for gravediggers opening up... well, it didn’t seem like the death toll would be steadying anytime soon.
This was exacerbated by an event that happened weeks after the exploration of the hedge maze. Rumors started circulating that the Watcher was dissatisfied, though not with the tenants, with some of the manor’s employees...
Apparently Cass has broken a promise she made to the Watcher? She refuses to verify this rumor and is attempting to quell the spread of it.
Murmurs have been stirring about Merlot and the Watcher. There seems to be some frustration over the content of his recent acts and performances...
Everyone suspects that the Watcher expected more out of Lux than just the one murder and passive agressive comments... With the resurgence of death in Woe, the Watcher’s patience is rumored to be wearing thin.
Nevertheless, after the rumors started another sprang up, several tenants and staff members believed that the Watcher might be revoking their immortality to hopefully see some blood fly... At midnight, all doors in the manor slammed open, and refused to close. The crypt servants were nowhere to be seen... but this was the perfect opportunity to test those rumors…
