You’ve made the discovery of the origin of the doppelgangers, after you saw something manifest out of a mirror surface in the distance and take the shape of another tenant you’ve seen around the manor. When you went to the lobby to share this discovery, it seems that a few others have witnessed a similar thing as you did earlier. It did make sense, you thought, as they shattered upon perishing. They’ve got to come from somewhere.
Just then, Florence rushes in and comes to a stop by the front desk, seemingly out of breath. Once she got her bearings together, she looks up to all of you currently at the lobby and said,
“Dear me, I’ve just escaped myself! I didn’t think I’d ever be thankful to those crypt creatures, but I am now. They don’t seem to be able to tell apart who’s the real me…”
With these revelations, it’s safe to assume that it’s possible to sic a crypt servant on your doppelganger- if you dare try, that is. What’s for sure known is where the doppelganger keeps coming from even after they had shattered earlier dawn, and how to hopefully put a stop to it.
The notes on doppelgangers have been updated!
