III. Light Redecorating

Part of your stay at our luxurious hotel is being comfortable with your own room, and what’s more comforting than decorations? Sure the screams in the hallways are still present but why does that matter when you can take in the surroundings of your own hard work and good taste. So why not go to the new shop and see what you can buy to help you feel more at home.

Oh, you don't know? Oh right, there was a note attached to your door. Did you even read it?

Dear Guests,

We opened up a new shop within the Manor, ran by our very dear and precious Janitor, Mister.

His shop is selling things to help make the Manor a more comforting place for you, and help you settle in. Browse it and check it out when it opens today, and see what there might catch your eye. You might not even know you want it until you have it.

After what they pulled with the puzzle pieces and now... furniture?

This place is strange.

Welcome to PKMN-WOE’s third event! A more easygoing event that can serve as a much needed respite from the hellish night. Try to have fun with it, and remember between death, despair, and dread, there can be just a little fun. Still... Try to stay in your rooms once the hallways of the manor go dark...

This event will be active from September 8th to October 1st

All art submissions must include at least one lined(or lineless) halfbody, with either color or shading, to be counted for the prompt bonuses.

All literature submissions must include at least 1000 words to be counted for the prompt bonuses.

Each piece can only complete one prompt.

Make sure to tell us what prompt you are completing in the description of your art or literature so we can reward you correctly!

Prompt A || Room Party || 50 wc

Where’s the fun in redecorating if you don’t invite some friends to enjoy it with you, so invite a huge truckload, and trash the hard work you put into moving that heavy furniture. Have a fun party, be loud and proud, don’t worry, I’m sure the servants wont get that mad at all the noise.

Draw your character with others in a party in one of your rooms, you only get the big bonus once for your room, but you can get a small one every time you appear.

This prompt must be completed with a collab!

Prompt B || A Light Shopping Spree || 50% coupon off your first purchase at Mister's Shop + A Beanbag Chair

Mister set up shop, and he hopes you’ll buy from him, or at least browse the goods. He might just throw in a gift for you for just looking...

Draw your character browsing the wares, do your best, the shop is open to interpretation.

You’ll also get an appreciative gift from Mister, a bean bag chair!

Prompt C || Mister's Magic Machine || 1 free Spin at Mister's Magic Machine

What is that strange machine in the back of the shop?

Draw your character looking at Mister's Magic Machine, or going back to his shop to use it again and again.

You can repeat this prompt 3 times.

Prompt D|| Hard-work Pays Off || 50WC

You think furniture just appears in there? You got to put it in there and set it up. Get to work then. Luckily you don’t have to assemble it yourself, at least. That being said, nothing gets done sitting around.

Show us how you moved you furniture around!

You can repeat this prompt for a reduced bonus of 15WC.

Event Reward || Mister's Magic Machine Replica

By completing at least one prompt during the Light Redecorating event with a character, that character will be rewarded a surprise gift at the end of the event. Who knows what it will be...
