I. Opening Doors

After a few relatively uneventful nights of new guests arriving and filling up the rooms of the hotel, one morning shattered the routine like a black cat passing a mirror. During breakfast, Weston walked into the dining hall and asked for everyone to join him in the theatre once the meal was over. The bellhops and the unown gathered up the late risers and brought them all to the theatre along with any straggling guests.

“Ah that’s everyone.” Weston stood on stage with a microphone in front of him gazing out towards the faces of the new guests. “Now I bet you are all wondering why I’ve called you here… heheheheh…” He adjusted the mic lower and fumbled with it before deciding to take it off of the stand and hold it. “Well let me be the first to tell you that the Manor is officially running at full force. The specialist staff members have all returned from their annual bonding and training trip… They have a lot to catch up on so they couldn’t make it today but I’m sure you’ll see them around.” He grinned unnervingly.

“And don’t forget to explore the manor a little. There are lots of interesting places to enjoy here and we expect you to take full control of it. Maybe get closer to the guests around you… You know what they say about Woe Manor… any bonds made here go to the grave… that is all…”

Weston bowed his head a tiny bit before disappearing behind the curtains of the stage. As everyone stood Weston’s voice emanated across the room. “Oh, and they wanted me to tell you… Welcome to Woe Manor… hehehehehe…”

Prompt A || Treat your neighbor… || 50wc & 50xp

Here at Woe Manor, we pride ourselves on our community. Since you’re stuck booked here for a while, why not meet your neighbors, er, the other guests? They are going to be the only one’s you’ll see besides the staff. Looking at these guests, they sure are some charming characters aren’t they?

Talk to some of your new friends, and get to know them, they are the people you’ll be living the rest of your life with after all.

You must have at least two colored or shaded halfbodies or 500 words to get the reward for this prompt.

This prompt can be repeated but a different guest must be interacted with each time.

If a piece is a collab the bonus increases from 50 to 75!

Prompt B || Proper Staffing || 50wc & 50xp + a piece of npc info

Here at Woe Manor, the staff are divine… especially our specialists. We want all of our guests to live in luxury so we only hire the best of the best. Though it would do you good to introduce yourselves to the staff… I’d hate for you to meet under unfavorable circumstance later instead…

Introduce yourself to the staff, make sure to make a good first impression.

Prompt C || New Surroundings || 75wc & 75xp

Here at Woe Manor, the decor is only of the utmost quality. How do you like the rooms? The staff has put a lot of work making sure everything in the manor and outside of it looks nice, so be sure to observe the hard work. Tell me what you like and don’t like…

Take a look around, relax, admire the surroundings. How does it make you feel?

You must have at least a simple background or 750 words to get the reward for this prompt.

This prompt can be repeated for each of the following locations. More location info can be found about these locations in the discord.

Lobby, Lounge, Library, Dining Room, Courtyard, Bar, Balcony, Theatre, Pool (Though it is broken…), Spa, Garden.

If a piece has a complex background the bonus increases from 75 to 100!

Event RP || Welcome to Woe || 50wc & 50xp

We will host several event rps on the group’s discord throughout the event. All you have to do is participate in one of them and you will get this reward. This reward can only be gained once per character. If you haven't joined the discord yet, you can click on the discord icon on the group's homepage to join.

Complete the Heart Chart meme with at least 6 relationships during this event to claim this reward.

Event Reward || Plush Effigy

By completing at least one prompt during the Opening Doors event with a character, that character will be rewarded a surprise gift at the end of the event. Who knows what it will be...

...

After a few weeks of meeting fellow guests had gone by, a small plush appeared in many tenants rooms. It looks exactly like you... to an unnerving degree... If you get hurt the doll does, if you evolve the doll's form changes to match. This holds true across fusions, type changes, elixirs, and pretty much anything else as well. What a strange little plush.
